¿Realmente se necesita gastar un platal en matrículas y soplarse dos años de estudios para convertirse en candidato a cuadros mayores?

Los promotores de un método alterno, el MBA personal (Personal MBA – PMBA), dicen que no, y la idea está desarrollando inercia. De acuerdo con ellos, lo que se necesita es seguir acumulando experiencia de trabajo, leer una serie de libros al ritmo propio y hablar de ellos en una comunidad en línea. La comunidad de escuelas de negocio, por supuesto, mantiene que no es tan sencillo.

El PMBA, esencialmente una lista en línea de material de lectura y foros que la acompañan, es en parte un club de lectura y en parte una comunidad en línea, en la que los participantes avanzan un libro a la vez y luego intercambian reflexiones en el sitio personalmba.com.

No hay diplomas, decanos ni facultad, pero tampoco hay costos, más que lo que se paga en la compra de los libros o en la membresía a una biblioteca.

El programa está en inglés, pero seguro que a alguno le interesará seguirlo. De cualquier forma, lo que se necesita es una lista (ya), lectores con ganas (¿ya?) y una forma de intercambiar opiniones y reflexiones (empecemos con sus comentarios acá).
